ArcaneTeller ("we," "us," or "our") is a service provided by Evnola OÖ, a company registered in Estonia. Your privacy is paramount to us. To provide our astrological services (Astro DNA, Pulse, Oracle), we collect the following types of data:

A. Account & Identity Information

  • Identity: Name, Email address, Profile picture (if logging in via Google/Apple).
  • Birth Data (Critical): Date of Birth, Exact Time of Birth, and Place of Birth (City/Country).
    • Purpose: This data is strictly used to calculate planetary positions using NASA JPL Ephemeris data to generate your natal chart.

B. Technical & Usage Data

  • Device Info: IP address, device model, OS version, browser type.
  • Location Data (For Pulse): Real-time geographic location (via GPS or IP) to provide the "Hourly Pulse" feature.
    • Purpose: To calculate local space astrology transits and fetch localized weather context.

C. Payment Information

  • We DO NOT store your credit card or bank details on our servers. All payment transactions are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. (or Apple App Store / Google Play Store). We only retain a transaction token and subscription status.

D. User Content (Oracle Features)

  • Images: Photos uploaded for features like "Coffee Cup Reading" (Oracle).
    • Processing: These images are analyzed by Google Gemini Vision AI to identify patterns. They may be stored temporarily to allow you to review your past readings.

2. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We use it solely to "Decode Your Destiny":

  1. Astrological Calculations: Processing birth data through our algorithms to generate your chart.
  2. AI Analysis & Content Generation: Transmitting anonymized chart data to our AI partners (Google Gemini, Claude) to generate personalized narratives (e.g., "The Book of You").
  3. Personalization: Delivering relevant news signals and notifications based on your location and interests.
  4. Communication: Sending service updates, security alerts, or responding to your inquiries.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We do not sell data to advertisers. However, to provide the Service, we work with the following trusted infrastructure providers:

  • Google Cloud Platform (Firebase): Database, Authentication, and Hosting (Servers located in US/EU).
  • Google Gemini (AI): For content generation and image analysis.
  • TrueLocale: For localization and multi-language support.
  • Stripe / RevenueCat: For payment processing.

These parties are contractually obligated to process data only according to our instructions (Data Processing Agreements).

4. Data Security

Your data is transmitted via industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) and stored on secure Firebase servers with AES-256 encryption. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & Global Compliance)

Since we are based in Estonia (EU), we strictly adhere to GDPR standards. Regardless of your location, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate birth time or location data.
  • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this via the App Settings or by emailing contact@arcaneteller.com.

  • Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent for data processing at any time (e.g., disabling location services).

ArcaneTeller is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the digital age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
